Zana Trenerry has been a Montville local for over 9 years and previously chef at two of the region’s most popular restaurants.


“It had been a dream of mine to open my own restaurant,” said zana, “and that dream has come to fruition here in Montville.”

zana’s@montville is a family concern with brother Mark and sister Helen joining the team.


“Mark was based in Rockhampton for the last 18 years, working in the recording industry,” said Zana. “We have always been a close family and Mark and I performed in a rock band together for over 12 years “

“Helen, our sister, adds an international flavour.
One of the first female Qantas captains, she travels extensively and is quite a wine buff! “ said Zana.

Perched on the eastern escarpment of the Blackall Range the restaurant enjoys breathtaking views to the Sunshine Coast. The option of verandah seating allows patrons to enjoy the beautiful garden setting or stunning vista!

It’s not just about the view, though!


What sets Zanas apart is the outstanding entertainment provided each evening by this amazing musical duo.

Equally impressive, the menu is comprised of a number of fascinating and mouth watering possibilities; a reflection of Zanas eclectic tastes with nearly every ingredient created under her watchful, meticulous eye .


Meals are predominantly seafood but there are some classic meat  and vegetarian selections for those feeling otherwise inclined, including lamb, chicken & pork dishes as well as MSA graded steaks.

Kids are catered for with a great selection of meals which include a drink and paddle pop for only $9.95.

“We aim to provide tasty, quality meals at affordable prices,” said Zana.


With this in mind , the innovative Zanas team have introduced a “Pay What You Think It’s Worth” menu at lunchtime that allows you to decide what $ figure you’d like to put on such a unique dining experience!
